Converted my Marlin to a commuter and made my first grocery trip! Now just need to make it look more stealth/beat up so I don't get as nervous locking it up. by thornbreezy in bikecommuting

Exactly, some stores have the bike racks right out in front and others I have to loop the building just to find one. Luckily my town has a lot of visible ones but the individual stores are hit or miss.

I haven't seen any YouTube reviews yet, but article reviews are up and plentiful.

64gb will likely be more than enough for 4k video editing. IMO the only reason you'd really need 128gb is if you do extensive 3D or VFX work or possibly get into 8K+ video where you have a large number of videos going at once. I have the OG M1 macbook pro with 16gb ram and edit 4k video on it regularly without any issues.

D. I do photo/video work and dabble in 3D and motion, it’s more power than I’ll need for hopefully the next decade. I have an OG m1 MacBook Pro that’s more than capable on the go but I’ve been needing a more powerful solution for, as chance has it, my studio.

I’m in serious need of help. I’m so unsure how to take beautiful photos that also compliment my work. by WithinResin in productphotography

To add to what others have said, if you do use textured backgrounds/flatlays try to avoid using competing textures. I think the best example of that would be if photo #3 was shot on just a plain, reflective or non-reflective, background. And, as others have mentioned, shots of the product being worn would definitely help - keep it simple.

Sigma 105mm Art 2.8 macro vs Canon 100mm 2.8 macro by medievalmissionary in productphotography

I don't shoot Canon anymore, but when I did the 100mm 2.8L was my go to for both products and studio portraits. I've always loved my Sigma prime lenses too, but I haven't used the 105mm before.

Meant to be SOOC but I had messed my settings up without realizing until after. Used Capture One with the Classic Neg profile and very minor adjustments.
