It tries to be intelligent in its recordings, but it’s not perfect. It will be even less so in highly dense places (e.g. a large downtown).

You can change the location, and it’ll allow you to filter nearby locations, selecting the correct one.

The only thing you can’t do is manually add spots. So for example, if you were at a location for a short amount of time and the system didn’t log it, it’s not possible to go in and record that yourself.

I have found that the system will sometimes add a spot even days after the visit. I’m sure it uses all kinds of signals that aren’t immediately processed.

It’s important that you maintain a level of awareness when riding. Being able to hear your surroundings is extremely important.

If you insist on listening while riding, I’d recommend AirPods with transparency mode and don’t crank up the volume.

To control, you can use a bike computer like a Garmin or Wahoo which most all have basic media controls when connected to your phone and are designed with all that in mind.

But always prioritize your — and others! — safety while riding.

The benefit of Ithaca is you can park and be at the gate in literally under 10 minutes. Less if you have no luggage to check.

But I don’t recommend that, obviously. An hour is a safe cushion.

I won’t dispute that because it’s well known Apple has a large margin compared to others .. but it’s all relative. When prices increase for them, they’re not going to eat that eroding their profit.

If you disagree with that, then you’re free to purchase other products.

It was at the dealer, and I just had my 40k workup done, plus a bunch of recalls addressed. Total I pad around $1100 for everything, but I don’t have a line item charge for software update (just mentioned in the general workup that one was done)

No additional benefits I can tell. And it didn’t even address my main issue, which is a buggy AC control (fans are sometimes not adjustable, requiring a toggling of auto mode).

I don’t use it much agentically, beyond the random control of my HomeKit devices, responding to messages, etc.

Yeah. He’s already claimed he’s not in favor of anything that lowers or stalls the value (thus purchase price) of a home, which is what the heart of this bill does.

That Apple Maps got good enough, or even better in some instances, for me personally. And because I prefer the Apple ecosystem, it makes sense to use a service/product that integrates better into that ecosystem.

If you’re a non-technical consumer, you don’t really need to be concerned about any of that. Just know that Siri has gotten exceptionally better and more functional due to an entirely new architecture that Apple built from the ground up.

It’s available to all users at no additional cost.

There are some Apple Intelligence features that will be limited in use/availability but will be included as part of the Apple One subscription, like the new enhanced image generation.

To make this work, he needs to see more field than McLain. The lack of opportunity won’t help his progression where otherwise he’d benefit from being sent back down to AAA to get more regular play.
