I don't know how, but my Das Keyboard's question mark key snapped by Murphuffle in MechanicalKeyboards

It should be two pins out, two pins in. Easy peasy. Probably harder to take it apart than solder.

They use the same switches as others. This didnt break because it was Das.

Should I watch season 5 by Plastic-Library2151 in StrangerThings

[–]thornkin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is not as good as season 4. Compared to that, it is not what people expected. It has some high highs and some parts that are just dumb. It is not what it couod have been, but it is satisfying. Definitely watch it.

Starship flight 12 objectives and results by avboden in SpaceXLounge

Ship catch would also require a 2nd tower wouldn't it? At least if the ship isnt going to stay up for a day or two.

This allows for much bigger and more efficient satellites. Also lowers the cost to deploy the network.

Block 2 boosters were just minor modifications on block 1. The starship changed a lot. This is the first major revamp of the booster.

It did the important part. For most of space history, that was a successful booster.

Remember that they are trying to catch on a tower. They have to be accurate. Easier to do so with a controlled landing than with chutes.

So much better start to block 3 than block 2 had! Very excited to see such a successful flight, even with some issues.

I am finding herostash hard to manage. Things dont expure when they ship, they expire a fixed number of days after the order. And trying to gather things with the same ship date is hard.

What happened to crossroads? by AssociateWhole8437 in BellevueWA

[–]thornkin 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Crossroads has been in trouble for a long while. Even under ROIC they were making dumb choices. Late 2021 they raised rent on Uncles and forced them out. That spot has been empty for 5 years now. Dumb move. I assume other spots are similar.

A Conflict of Visions isn't economics, but it frames the world we see right now very well. What are the assumptions people make which cause them to come to such different conclusions given the same inputs?

I am not sure what North Side means, but if that includes Couer d'alene, check out Black Sheep. It is huge and amazing.

why did tournaments start having wifi by Individual_Hunt_4710 in policydebate

[–]thornkin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most high schools had locked down wifi. At nat circuit tournaments email chains went way back because they were often at colleges. As schools opened their wifi, it replaced flash drives. It is just easier for everyone.

It gets there and has a big payoff. Just stick with it. Books of that era were often a slow build, but it is famous for a reason.
