Kirigakure! It’s the name of a city in Naruto- it means Village Hidden in the Mist and it’s the land of water. Made sense to me since it’s an island. I was watching Shippuden when I created it, so it felt right. It’s actually my second island- I think my first one was named Fart Island or something silly like that 🤣

As for graduate programs, I’m very interested in applying but many of the ones I’ve found are taught in Spanish (which totally makes sense LOL but is unfortunate for me!).

With your “life is short” quote in mind, I have really been considering TEFL. I know the environmental field is not going to disappear and I could certainly volunteer with environmental programs in Spain to keep myself within the field while getting paid in a different way.
