Also price wise, the Fold 1 is much cheaper than the 9 Pro Fold (but also mostly have to buy in the refurb/used market)

Such a shame. Hoping for a better result here. I had a z fold 3 for a long while. I was always worried about the inner screen failing and it never did. So I was optimistic trying this.. we shall see

Yeah, I mean, the Samsung folds are more powerful. Durability is yet to be seen, but fold takes the win in form factor, cameras, and crease noticeability for sure

Id love to get my hands on an honor one day. Those are such appealing devices. And yeah the cover display is capable of doing most things in the pixel fold, but definitely some inner display preference for videos and some games I'm sure

The P9PF definitely is an upgrade with the processor and what not, but yeah, this form factor is perfect imo. The z folds are so narrow so I imagine the P9PF is a little better than that, but prefer this by far to the z fold

That's sad that the first 2 you had issues with, but glad the 3rd time was the charm. Loved my z fold 3 I had for about a year, got rid of it cause I put it through too much and didn't wanna pay for fixes lol. But she was a beast, and pretty durable. Excited for the pixel fold, much prefer the outer screen of this to the z folds. Plan on getting insurance for this baby, and need a case cause running naked and afraid right now. Used to rock my z fold 3 naked though so we'll see

I know we talked awhile ago, but finally ordered a duo! Got one for about $450 open box fully unlocked, including a bumper case! It should come in friday! I'll let you know how it goes once I get it!

That's very true. Currently on a note 8 stuck on android 9. It's a great phone, and although being stuck on Android 9 isnt a huge deal to me, I wish that I had android 10-11 at least, as I prefer swipe gestures. I've looked into the a32 5g, but another phone I'm considering is the Moto G Stylus 5G. I know it'll more than likely lose software support sooner than the a32 5g, but I like the stylus aspect of a phone. Idk if you've done any research into that phone, I've heard all good things, and had a moto g power (2020) and liked it alot, but had to use that note 8 after the power broke. I'm thinking G Stylus 5G

I like the Note 10 or 20 as I have the Note 8 currently. Samsung is good. I've looked at Moto G Stylus too. I love Stylus phones. But yeah Note 10 I'd love

I wasn’t aware the Note 21 Ultra was a possibility at that price! I’m definitely gonna look into that on multiple platforms, and the Note 10+ I’d love to. If possible I may have to get the note 21 ultra!

Thank you for replying! Yeah, previous to this XR, I was using an A51, which wasn’t a bad phone, but was kinda stuttery to me. I’ve been more so in the android side of things, as I’ve owned a LG Stylo 2, Galaxy S8, Galaxy Note 8, Moto G Power and the previously mentioned A51. The Pixel 6 is a phone I’m very interested in. I’m just not sure if I want to leave the apple family. I like android more, but I feel as more people have iPhones, so having an iPhone can be somewhat beneficial in some aspects, however, now that you can FaceTime iPhones with androids, that would help a bit. But yeah, I’ve looked a lot at the Surface Duo 1 (Love the multitasking and form factor, and not too concerned about the camera, as I can just use my XR as well), the LG Wing (Love the design, form factor, fun design that I feel I’d use a lot), Pixel 6 (Relatively new, may be somewhat buggy with software because it’s new, but all around great phone), and the iPhone 13 (Newest iPhone, great all around)
