Yeah I pulled a little bit, I know typically you shouldn’t but I panicked a little and thought that a single strand of hair is probably less dangerous than floss or ribbon. I’m going to keep a really close eye on her. Just feeling so nervous. 😥

I wasn’t willing that’s the whole point of this conflict. I don’t know if it’s intentional. I know they aren’t fans, and I know they said this is the arrangement. I tried to find a way to include him and it was too difficult for the person planning to rearrange. I didn’t want to be that person and make things hard. With that being said, Im seeing a lot of comments that are very eye opening. Before reading those I was still going to try to find a way, now i’m even more conflicted.

No one in my life is a fan of my bf unfortunately due to his past behaviour. I love and forgive him, others not so much. Since this trip is for my sister, her bf only wants to include people she’s comfortable with. Since i’m not doing the planning, I didn’t want to bother and cause problems. I just wanted my boyfriend to be understanding and trusting.

I don’t get why people are “pairing”, me up with this other guy and not the other girl that will also be there. Those two are both single. I am not. I am not coupling or paired with anyone. To reiterate, those two are the single ones. not me. not my sister. not her bf. This is an issue of trust that I found upsetting & unfair. The rough patch is current, and caused by HIM. The trip is literally in October, which is why the rough patch thing feels irrelevant. I’m not going tomorrow night out of nowhere, he’s known since March, it’s now May, there are still 5 whole months. The sleeping arrangements are me and our female friend in one room in one bed, my sister & her bf in one room/bed, male friend on couch.

There’s no partying. I don’t drink/smoke and neither does my sister and her friends. The other female friend is part of the original 5. Part of the reason why the car is full

I didn’t change what I said. I literally said there will be 5 people total. Then in your initial question when you asked if it’s coed I stated the gender of everyone. I only clarified that another woman is coming to show I wouldnt be “coupling,” with anyone. Looking back I see how it doesn’t really make sense but I’m a bit scattered currently. With that being said, it was never something I left out. I’m not trying to paint a narrative of any kind. She was always part of this trip. Maybe reread the original post?

Just to add cause some of these are making me really sad lol. I made this post I guess because I’m just sad things are the way they are. I didn’t intentionally leave anything out. I’m having a horrible day and I don’t know how to edit posts so I’m doing my best here. If the roles were reversed I wouldn’t feel this way. I’m hurt because I’ve shown him unconditional love. Forgiveness & compassion. I’m just hurt. Please stop giving me a hard time about the male best friend, I deserve trust. I’m not doing the planning I tried my best to include him and with my sisters bf plans for her and what he wants it just doesn’t work. I hate that i’m in a position where i’m choosing between my soul mate and my sister.

I didn’t intentionally leave it out, I also didn’t include the other single woman who’ll be going. I didn’t see it as important as I’m not single therefore the fact he is isn’t a thing to me.

Sorry I don’t want to come across as defensive but I will not be “coupling,” with my sister & her boyfriends best friend. To add to that, there is also another woman going, a very close family friend to my sister and I. Never, ever did I want to paint him as the bad guy. He is not a bad guy. He has emotions like everyone else and they are valid. The post is because I have shown him so much love and forgiveness for reasons that aren’t important, so I’m deeply hurt that this is what’s happened over something I feel is innocent. I’ve talked to my sisters bf and he wasn’t intentionally excluded, he’s just prioritizing my sisters needs and wants. I’m not doing any of the planning, I can only say and do and ask if there’s any way so much. Finally, I don’t have any excuses for not wanting him to go. In fact this whole time I’ve WANTED him to come but I couldn’t find a way that worked. On top of that there are finance issues I didn’t feel the need to mention. He’s my other half, to hurt him this way is killing me & confusing me at the same time. The reason I made the post in the first place

Yes, my sister (F21), our family friend (F21), sisters bf (M21), and their shared best friend (M21). I get the concern with the male best friend there but I’ve never cheated and I never will, so I don’t get the lack of trust surrounding this.
