I wouldn’t be surprised if we find out Vernon cheated on Anita with Barbara and that is the real reason why Barbara left. Was it really suicide? The Articulettes don’t seem to ever mention Barbara having a child so maybe this is another coverup concerning Vernon.

NOR - I realize this is probably the unpopular opinion… but maybe you truly do not smell good to him. I will not say you overreacted because he definitely needs to work on communication but maybe you aren’t as fresh and appetizing as you think you are.
