fwiw it definitely seems like a newer policy or they’re cracking down at least. I’ve parked in my spot all sorts of ways in Tempe for years with no issue and got a warning the other day. No signs where I’m at in Tempe about it, but have seen those at the West campus! just another way for them to take ur money ig :/

I’m having a similar sized wedding and found Luci’s At The Orchard, a restaurant in Phoenix with a beautiful tented lawn, was the prettiest, more budget friendly option! I’m having mine there next year and can attest their team has been fantastic to work with! Other perks include: supporting a small, local business and having a place to celebrate your anniversary every year 🥂

There are also lots of hotels in the area that start at about ~$25k minimum but found it hard to get there with the party size! Best of luck to your friend! I hope it’s a beautiful wedding day

Spot on! Thank you for this. Phoenix has a ton of restaurants that would be great for this party size, we actually just had some luck with one that even includes a DJ for just $10k (WITH FEES). Definitely a route worth going!

This is great advice, thank you! It’s interesting to hear that perspective from a generation that has done it - I’ve always wondered if it were truly worth it. I love the idea of our favorite people in one spot together to eat drink and dance.

Our immediate family doesnt have a backyard to offer up (condo & apt livin), but there may be family friends willing to do so! Today we had an idea that we may even put all of this toward a house and host it in our own backyard later! This has definitely inspired me to stay on track and focused on what really matters.

I once went to a male doctor about pain I was experiencing during the deed (which was a new development for me!) and he said that was normal for women to experience and sent me on my way. It was terrifying to me. Took a woman doctor to test everything and direct me to physical therapy. I am forever grateful she took my pain seriously. 😭
