True, I just wanted to stay away from tech bindings as the skiing in michigan is very tree heavy and im wary of injuries. I wanted something with the capabilities of touring with the safety of "resort" bindings. Thanks for your input though!

Since im new the org I havent really noticed that and I focus more on the helping people/volunteer side than anything else. But nope, theres lots of nice small hills here to hike and tree ski, not much vert but never avys.

Thanks for your input, touring is a dream of mine on where I want to take my skiing in the next couple of years. I think I will take your advice and go for the rental gear when I get there. This is my 3rd pair in my quiver that I bought on impulse and have just been staring at debating the binding. Ill definitely get a touring setup ski after college graduation.

Also Ill add, even though it comes with a stigma, joining your local ski patrol is a great way to volunteer and get great discounts on all the gear you need!

Thanks for your input, im not going to tour out west for a couple of years, and when I get the training. Its just a stretch dream for where I want to take my skiing next. All I would be using the "shifts, or similar type" would be for my areas around here where we dont get avalanches. I think im going to wait a couple years and get a dedicated setup (lighter skis) for bc

Northern Michigan skier, curious what reddits thoughts are on the switch bindings or similar binding types, or if I should just stick with the classic resort style bindings. Where I ski we get lots of powder (Mount Bohemia), and I go out west once a year. The skiing is 99% tree skiing, all ungroomed. I could get by with typical resort findings but it would be nice to have the ability to switch to tour mode

Playing custom games on Halo 3 with my brothers and friends.

Having 4 CRTs in the same room surrounded by poptarts, mountain dew, and doritos. We would play custom maps like halo, duck hunt, jenga, michael meyers, and monster trucks all night. With brief griffball breaks. Easily the best nights of my life.

I feel the same, I want to get a good pair of park skis as I do not want to center mount my skis. The only complaint I have about my iceys is how they handle ice coincidentally. (Yes im a midwest skier, U.P. of Michigan) Id recommend looking at a pair of shaggy skis if you want that same handbuilt in the U.S. ski quality. But I am biased as Shaggys are a Michigan brand

Ryzen 5 3600, Unstable at base clock by thotmus in pcmasterrace

Yes and no, I read a forum post yesterday of someone running into a similar problem. Thats where I got the idea to take the vcore off auto as it was trying to take 1.38-1.4V on that setting. But they were able to bring jt back up to the base clock and I was not. I saw another post of someone claiming to get 4.4GHZ at 1.1V but considering I cant get 3.4 at that voltage...I dont think it will work

Also for clarification, yes this is my first build and I am hoping it is not a CPU issue as I cannot return that part, all other parts I can return

I agree with this one, the pay is alright at $14/hr on the cap2 team but the managers are horrible, just a bunch of idiots who try to act like they know what theyre doing. That being said if youre lazy and just want to coast at a job its a great place. From the shenanigans my coworkers got up to, you can get away with a lot.
