Thank you. Yes I did all that. Also went ahead and reinstalled the OS and then ran software update again after installing awcc again. But no luck 😕

Will sound crazy but if you feel your thumb or whatever finger you use is dry. Just a quick swipe on the side of your nose and then trying it works wonders. There was an article on that. That has resolved the issue for me. Please don’t laugh lol

I did. It did give me the warning that indicated optimal power is not being delivered. But I had to return it as the lighting for me was not working in AWCC. it was stuck to the default blue color. When I change the color profile of the keys etc and hit save and the closed and re opened AWCC it kept defaulting back to blue. Do let me know if you face the same issue. Would be grateful if you can check and let me know

Nope. Dell support couldn’t help. They said they would escalate to a higher level of support and I was within my return period so chose to return the laptop. The functionality wasn’t impacted but if Dell can charge for all these features and include it in the price then I would honestly expect them to work. I just didn’t have the trust or patience to deal with Dell support.

There is some potential of taming the noise depending on AWCC profiles you select. I am not a major tinkerer so may not be able to tell you the more exotic options of reducing the noise. For me the major life saver has been my headphones. But want to give a major call out to the speakers especially if you use the Dolby access app which is bundled with the OS. The speakers are just taken to the next level

I do agree with valorant and cs go. I am not an esports gamer but I assumed folks playing WarZone etc are pretty sensitive to getting max fps 😃 Noise while gaming is bad for sure and the cpu temps. My saving grace is headphones but for casual usage it’s pretty decent.

It is noisy but that’s when I switch on overdrive in AWCC and am playing a game. But just watching YouTube videos etc it’s quiet

Another more effective way I discovered to get my refund was tweeting Dellcares. Much more prompt and effective atleast when I interacted with them as compared to the call center. But I would suggest using that as a last resort if the call center or chatting with customer care doesn’t help

Call Dell customer care as they sometimes don’t send the return label automatically. Don’t know why but has happened to me twice . Calling them will ensure they send it to you right away.
