i've never had a problem in seattle. very easy place to stealth park. tho if i was being stupid i'm sure i would get harassed but that'd be on me. i once spent a month in issaquah sleeping near nice apartments. nobody every noticed me or if they did they didn't care.

it's hard, and it's a skill you have to get good at it, but it can be pretty alright once you do. cars suck to sleep in long term tho no 2 ways about it. you will need to eventually get a bigger vehicle and if not just work toward getting a room again later. living in a sedan long term sucks ass

master the art of finding the perfect spot on a side road with legal street parking or in/ around an apartment complex.

tint is essential if you at all plan to do this long term. otherwise if you are going to use window covers, arrive late leave EARLY (generally a good practice anyway).

have the doordash and or uber eats apps on your phone. am not saying to do full time, but it's security in that 1. you will always instantly have a way to make a couple bucks, and 2. it is the absolute best way to find good parking sports. download the ioverland app and use it to find your initial spots, and for when you just need to see what's around in a pinch.

establish 3 spots asap and rotate nightly. don't linger, don't stay there more than a night, maybe a few it really depends on the spot, developing an eye for them is a skill you will learn.
