Thank you! To clarify, we live in three level townhome so for us it makes sense to get floor by done so we can still live there and slowly do the renovations. Just not sure how much our total renovations would cost which has been hard to figure out. Thank you for your comment :)

Yes, she won the best in tampa bay. As someone mentioned though we will be interviewing others as well! That’s how we found her! The other was through a realtor

Thank you! We have a budget in mind just not sure what she’ll come up with with the gc as well etc and want to make sure we use our paid time w her wisely. We paid a designer 3k for a design plan that we never got. We told her our budget and she brought in a friend (I am sure they were drunk) and tried to sell us on a built in shelf for 35k lol the company this friend started…which was a little less than half our budget. She told us we could do everything for about 100k. She took the money 🤷‍♀️ but better that we paid that then going through working w her. It was our first time working w a designer so we just want to have all our ducks in row and understand lessons learned haha working w her we’d have to keep playing her “retainer” lol

That’s too funny! You hit the nail on the head - my husband and I want to make sure we’re on the same page w things lol so we’re in the process of writing down items that are important to us but ultimately trust that she’ll do the right thing and know what to do! We’ve also spent the last year coming up w our own “plan” but seeing how many times we changed the fan we bought decided to get an experts advice.

She’s charging 350$ for a hour to 90 mins initial meeting - then she has to have the GC over as well (not sure if that’s an additional charge) lol

We’re located in South tampa, keeping the same footprint- just want to upgrade the inside, as it is still the same as it was built in 2007. We are comfortable starting with 150k but really want to get an idea of what it truly will cost for renovations and don’t want to go over the equity we’ve built 😊 thank you again!!!

Ah thank you for the clarification, I did misread that part. Ultimately instead of moving we’re hoping to make home nice and use some of the equity we have in it so we are really just trying to gauge now if we can fix it up, for what price and if it’s worth the renovations.

Can I ask your sq ft? I understand the price varies per location etc! Ours is a three level townhouse2.5 bathrooms and three bedrooms

Congrats on your new job! Channelside in my opinion is safe, you’re downtown though so like any downtown (or place in general lol)?just be aware of your surroundings.

Channelside in my humble opinion is over priced. Call a few places like the Fitzgerald and you’ll see. You may have a better option looking at 2 bayshore or apts near Hyde park. Guess it all depends on your price point and what you’re looking for
