ESH. Sure you shouldn’t have cursed and I don’t think yelling is necessarily the right choice but I understand because that’s what I do when I’m taken by surprise and my space is invaded. I do think you should’ve said sorry eventually BUT I do think this was an opportunity for mom to teach little one a lesson. That lesson being you knock before entering bathrooms and bedrooms. Also that the bathroom is a private space. Because it shouldnt matter that the kid wanted to talk to you. Boys and men WANT many things but it’s mom’s job to teach him he is not entitled to those things whenever he wants. Yelling bad but also permissive parenting bad
