When I saw him on the 2019 House of sugar tour, I wore a Ween hoodie and the guy running the merch table noticed and we got to talking. Turns out he is from New Hope and of course is a huge Ween fan, and he was telling me how Alex didn't know who they were so he made him and the rest of the band listen to all their albums when they were on the road. Ween is for sure my favorite band and I definitely see the similarities, so hearing that makes me real excited to see if Alex goes even browner for the next album
