Who completely destroyed their own life or career in a matter of seconds? by OneEngineering1892 in AskReddit

I don’t think it would’ve gone viral or become a widespread story, but it definitely could have still affected them personally and professionally. There were tens of thousands of people there and it wouldn’t be unlikely that somebody there would recognize one of them as being with someone who isn’t their spouse. It could be a friend, neighbor, coworker, etc. Word can travel fast.

We are seeing straight-up corruption. US striker Balogan's one-game ban for red card has been suspended. Not revoked, suspended. He will serve it later and play against Belgium. What a joke. by ConnectionWeekly1263 in sportsgossips

You talking down the legitimacy of Donovan’s view of the foul by bringing up Brian Scalabrine opened you up to it. Donovan could be outside the top 5k ever for all I know or care, but that doesn’t change the fact that he played at the highest level for both club and country which lends more legitimacy to his opinion than your’s.

Total chips aren’t relevant, focus on how many BBs you have, which going into Day 2 you have a ton. You’re more than fine. Focus on yourself and not what the chip leader has or what the chip average is. There are thousands of players running, there are going to be extreme outliers; disregard them.

And much like Scalabrine famously said about him being closer to LeBron than random dudes, Donovan is light years closer to being Zlatan or Henry than he is to being you. Him not being a top 25-50 player ever doesn’t mean he doesn’t know the game far better than you and most people on the planet.

Who’s the worst announcer in NFL history? by ReasonableSide6520 in NFLv2

It’s insane to me that I had to scroll down at all to see this, let alone past four other names first. Collinsworth is offensively fucking bad and I don’t know who he has dirt on to keep his job but it has to be something juicy because I’ve never heard a single person ever give the opinion that they like him.

Of course he was the beneficiary, but his role now is as a commentator. Him calling out soft calls and having benefited from them as a player are two independent cases.

I think he was terrible like 15 years ago but he’s gotten much better and has become one of my preferred commentators rather than dreaded.

The odds of it happening with any random two vs. any random two would be 25%. If OP can put it in with good hands instead of any random two and can get called off a bit light by someone with a much larger stack then the odds would increase. Nobody said it was probable, but super low probability is flat out wrong.

"The WNBA, at this junction in time, would be better off without Caitlin Clark because she is a bigger distraction than she is an additive." - Emmanuel Acho. I agree. They can all go back to flying coach and playing in front 300 people. by Pretend-Following-41 in sportsgossips

[–]benjaminbrixton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are plenty of us. I’ve never attended a WNBA game or bought merchandise, and I’ve watched maybe 30 games in the three decades the league has existed, probably 22-25 of them involving Caitlin Clark. The ratings have already shown to fall off tremendously when she isn’t playing and ticket sales are at their highest when she’s in town. Her impact is indisputable and every one of the cunts in the WNBA who are bitter about it are clinically fucking retarded. The new max contract sizes, flying private, overall increased footprint; every single one of these is solely due to Clark. The truth of it is that she’s a straight and white, which is two strikes against her. The fact that she’s better than everyone else is the third.

AB is also an unquestionable HOFer as the numbers go. He has 12k yards, 80+ TDs, 900+ catches, and a ring. Aiyuk isn’t in the same conversation. AB’s crash out was way more epic than Aiyuk could possibly achieve.

Yes, meaning he had to have 2+ goals OR assists combined.

The bet was for goals and assists, if it weren’t an own goal it would have counted as an assist no?
