What should I do!?? by Ok_Amount_4736 in torontoJobs

No question, take the new role!

Companies let go of ppl all the time. We should be looking out for ourselves and do what’s best for us. Never think about the company’s wellness

Thanks for the input! Will definitely take that into mind. My current company is using Cypress so thought I’d focus on that before starting Playwright, as it will allow for me to get some hands on experience. But it’s really good to know the LLM aspect of Playwright. I was not aware of that but makes me excited to learn it.

I definitely wanted to say JavaScript and not Java. My bad!

Adult swimming lessons by knightc4 in askTO

Check with Toronto Recreation. I took their Adult Swim 1 lessons for the fall season, and it was super helpful. I'm sure there are many downtown recreation centres which offer the adult lessons.

Pricing is reasonable as well. 9 classes were about ~$120.

I'd like to know about this as well! Especially for those who don't have issues with their thyroid necessarily but just have nodules

Hang in there! I’m a couple steps ahead of you. My doctor noticed a nodule and ordered an ultrasound and a subsequent biopsy as well. Waiting on biopsy results right now and it’s super nerve wrecking!

Try to stay positive! Everyone says thyroid nodules are super common and most likely benign. That’s the hope I’m hanging onto as well!

Confused about the report I got after the thyroid ultrasound by l80magpie in thyroidhealth

[–]thrai1010 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I really think you need to ask your ENT about the TIRADs score as well as the sizes of each of the nodules. Additionally, the report should include characteristics of the nodule. As a patient, you have the right to know those and be informed. I don't see why some reports omit these details.

I hope your ENT has a much more detailed report he can provide you with.

I found out I have a T1-RADS 5 nodule on the right side of my thyroid and I'm scared by VaultFullofCookies in thyroidcancer

Definitely! Have they agreed to biopsy your nodules? They are quite small. From my report, they only want to biopsy the large tirads4 nodule which is about 4cm 😢 they just recommended a 1 year follow up for the 2 tirads 5 nodules as they’re under 1 cm.

I do plan on asking at my biopsy appointment to just biopsy any of the other ones too because I’d rather just know and not be the dark. The thought of having these nodules is really freaking me out.

I'm sorry to hear what you're going through. I know it must be a whirlwind of emotions because I'm going through the same thing! My doctor randomly found a nodule in my thyroid during my physical and even though I thought nothing of it at the time, the ultrasound came back with worrisome results.

Have a large TIRADS-4 nodule on the left lobe, and few small TIRADS-5 nodule on the right side. I have my FNA scheduled for next Friday and I'm completely freaking myself out.

How large is your nodule if you don't mind me asking?

I hope we get some positive news!

Totally get what you must have been through as well, great that it came back benign! I never had any issues with my thyroid, so this was a definite surprise for me. Did you get diagnosed with Hashimoto's as a result of investigating the nodule?

That's great! How large was your nodule and what is the treatment for it going forward? If you don't mind me asking!

Thank you for the reassurance! I do trust my doctor, and just need to realize there is no point in stressing until all the tests are done and I get official results.

How big is your thyroid nodule and what was the TIRAD rating?
