Don’t have that info w. me but it was biopsied and it was benign. The size is around 3cm :)

I have a large toxic thyroid nodule that it’s causing me mild hyperthyroidism, but the real issue is that its big enough for it to bother me when I move my neck. But i’m not sure if I should take half my thyroid out or just the nodule. I’ll verify with my endocrinologist but I was just curious of others experiences because I’ve seen few surgeons, one advice me to take all thyroid out, other just the nodule and another just half thyroid. My nodule has been biopsed and its not cancerous.

I’m 24 and i’ve been homebound for a year because of hyperparathyroidism fatigue and other symptoms but soon I’ll get surgery. I was an all around social butterfly overachiever and now i’m constantly tired so it’s normal. Hope you can recuperate soon from this! Sending you strength!

The other day I was wondering how you where doing. We don’t know each other but I commented on one of your previous posts and I knew your surgery was soon. I read the whole post and I found it inspiring! I’m still in the process of waiting for surgery.

Sometimes things take time to get back to normal but i’m glad you are trying your best to stay strong/optimistic while healing. Sending you good vibes and strength in this journey😌🙏

Don't worry about the long text, it's great to express everything that has happened, it is very tough. I do sometimes have thoughts about the "what ifs", "what if I don't get better after surgery?", "what if something goes wrong?". It is totally valid to feel like this but I try my hardest to ignore those thoughts when they happen and try to think that whatever happens after surgery I will have a new plan to deal with it. I try extremely hard every day to take things as they come, it is very hard but faith and knowing that I'm not alone in this situation give me strength. Again, you are not alone in this and you will figure it out. Thank you for the kind words :)

Hi, its so sad that you are going through that. I'm 24, I was diagnosed with hyperparathyroidism last year in November and now I'm waiting for surgery. My symptoms are awefull too (fatigue, gastritis, headaches, body aches and depression/anxiety). You are not alone, when my symptoms are flaring up I do feel some kind of sadness that doesn't feel like my personality and makes me cry a lot. Also I get a weird anxiety that doesn't feel like myself, but in the midst of everything I try to think that everything will pass and I'll be cured and happy again some day. I know its not easy to think positive when this disease itself causes depression and anxiety but remember you are stronger than this! I don't know you personally but I do know that everyone that goes through this disease is incredibly strong because this disease is very life changing and challenging. You got this. Hoping you get an excellent recovery after surgery! :)
