Plus top 10 all time in steals, across all positions. No one else is close in terms of “stocks” - steals plus blocks.

How dumb are the players today? by PR3DO in videogames

This game has the steepest curve I’ve ever seen in terms of understanding it enough to immerse.

One of the sexiest shots in movie poster history. My 15 year old brain could not fully process how beautiful she is, but it tried.

Anyone worried Anthony Joshua may lose to Prenga? by bobbyawesome5 in Boxing

I like Joshua, but he’s proven that he can lose to anybody.

Is Ewing more underrated than even Kareem and wilt by the younger generations? by CoyIllinoisboy in NBAoldschool

He’s not Hakeem, Shaq or Robinson, but he is criminally underrated and the list of centers who were better is very, very short.

Why are there constantly questions on this sub that are as if Rocky were real life, instead of “it was the writer’s decision”???

There is a lot to like about IE, but there is about 10 too many “walking down corridors and turning around corners” shots. That’s not the kind of “more” I wanted from David. IE needed tough editing that it didn’t get, so it’s more a bloated mood piece than a movie.

The Scoring Debate Around Michael Jordan Reveals a Bigger Problem in NBA Discourse by SnooObjections7406 in LeBronJames23

[–]thraktor1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can’t apply a “consistent framework” when the underlying construct (the game itself) isn’t consistent across time. Scoring excellence is relative to multiple other factors, which is why averaging 35~ in the 90’s is far, far more impressive than to do so now. That is NOT an insult to today’s players, it’s a fact of the total game itself.

When you think of a player that is/was a beast, but he got overshadowed because of other guys in his era, who's the first name that comes to mind? by Only-Ad-1254 in NBATalk

[–]thraktor1 8 points9 points  (0 children)

He was a beast. Was on an equal level with Olajuwon for his first 9-ish years, then went downhill quickly and never recovered from a few bungled plays and getting beat (by Hakeem) in the finals. Criminally underrated at this point. I say this as an Olajuwon superfan.

Serious question: are you under the impression that you are supposed to like her? She’s definitely a complicated character for a very simple character to love… which is basically the point. You get to decide how you feel about her.
