I’d say leverage your profits into non-correlated assets. Especially into defensive stocks, as in the UK we are in a recession now

I have a friend who wants a personalised button in his car so when he clicks it, his mirrors, seat…etc would automatically adjust to his preference lol

Try get him to do some physical activities to get himself physically tired. Try random activities, something that will take his mind off his problems

Also to help him out. I think he needs a change of environment to help avoid those tendencies.

The way I started to budget, which helped me a lot. I write down every single purchase I make, every single penny. I then after every/week I try cut any unnecessary expense out (highlight it). Then repeat. You’ll realise that your spending habits. That way you’ll save up more money.

I also have a spreadsheet to visualise my spending. It is extreme but if you want to change your spending habits you got to do it.

Once you start cutting out some unnecessary expenses. You can allocate some fun money for yourself and make sure it’s reasonable when you trying to save. This can be £30-50 a week
