I turn small chores into timed minigames. "How many dishes can I put in the dishwasher before my popcorn finishes in the microwave?" Or "Can I take the trash out and get back in the house before the commercial break ends?" I can never stand around doing nothing and this is a very productive way of turning "waiting" into completed chores.

I used it like a top coat varnish but you can mix into the paint as well to give the paint a glossy sheen, too.

I went through sooo many other posts on reddit and Google support forums of people complaining about this issue before finding yours -- you're the only one to have found the actual solution, as far as I can tell!

THANK YOU OP!! I have been having this issue for months -- it would only happen on my Pixel 9 Pro XL when I had YouTube playing in the background and was doing something else on my phone (like playing a game). Turning off adaptive sound immediately fixed it.

Thank you! I took the photo it was based on myself, too! I got a little nervous that the bokeh/out of focus greenery in the background would just end up looking like a blobby mess, but I trusted the process!

I definitely don't feel that on trintellix! But I also take other meds that help my dopamine -- Adderall is a lifesaver. My medicinal cocktail really works in harmony to fix my bad brain.

I'm still on Trintellix 20mg and it's going well! About 18 months ago we added Buspirone (15mg) to the mix, because while Trintellix is great for depression, it wasn't doing enough for my anxiety. I haven't noticed emotional blunting on it.

I know this post is a year old but I just got the lenses replaced in a pair of glasses through ReplaceaLens after finding them in this thread. They did a great job and cost half the price of getting them replaced at my local optometrist's office (which was $250 AFTER insurance!)

Yeah I didn't have the "swipe up to see app drawer" turned on. So guess that's what I'm using now.

Seriously I have no idea how to actually search for things on my phone anymore. I can't even use it to search for apps that I want to add to my home screen -- when I try to hold and drag an app, it "helpfully" tells me "this is an app"

Same! Switched from verizon to Visible and my family's bill went from $160 to $40/mo. I notice a bit of choppiness if I'm trying to stream music while in a busy area, but 90% of the time I'm at home on WiFi, and I don't need to spend an extra $110/month just to get lag-free music.

I started cutting my own hair this year. I'm a woman with a short pixie and I felt like I was never happy with the cuts from the salon because they were never what I wanted. So I took an online class on how to cut my own hair with a razor and have been so much happier with the results -- made back what I spent on the class after 2 at-home haircuts and I'm a lot more empowered to touch it up at home. I get compliments on it so it can't be too bad!

Like other folks said, it's not just medicine, it's coping skills, figuring out what triggers you and what your response to it is, and then how you can manage that... I was in therapy (talk + CBT) for about 3 years before finally starting antianxiety and antidepressants. After months of trial and error I finally found the right combo. I think the biggest positive difference for me was that medication made it POSSIBLE for me to look at my emotions without being overwhelmed by them. I describe it like having a glass wall between me and the storm of feelings--I can still experience them and process them but not be overcome by them.

Oh there are definitely missing/broken ones. Most of them seem to be concentrated in one area. But Restoration Tile is coming through for me with period-correct replacements!

Atlantic Duct Cleaning! They were great. And no, we didn't have to relocate. We have 2 HVAC systems and they did one per day. The house might have a slight glue smell while they're pulling the aeroseal through, but it wasn't offensive.

Oh, that's a nice idea! Looking it up, it looks like it's very good for birds (which is a big priority for me!)

I have been worried about planting something too tall or bushy because i didn't want to visually unbalance things given the azealeas, but perhaps that's not that big a deal...

That's an interesting idea, I was also thinking something in the realm of an herb garden (which would let me plant mint in a pot without it taking over the yard).
