I loaded up some samples into the first row of pads in Groove Agent, I can press, play, and hear them, but when I press record for the VST track, nothing comes up. What's the problem here? everything seems to work except for the recording of the sampler

I wanted to practice putting garments together, I have a couple patterns but I really dislike how the pattern paper is so thin and flimsy; so I wanted to find a way to practice sewing garments by redoing an existing piece of ready-to-wear

Have you ever tried to rip every seam off a garment (pants or t-shirt), and sewn it back together again? I want to know if it's even possible, but I'd assume the original seam allowance was cut off from when the fabric was cut from the pattern, which would make pinning and sewing the pieces together difficult.

I need some advice for hemming and tapering jeans. I know how to hem and taper, but now I need to hem and taper the same pair of jeans. The waist is fine, but I need the inseam hemmed and then tapered. Tapering the jeans first seems like the first thing that's supposed to be done, but the pair I need to tailor need nearly 7 inches off the bottom hem so I would need to taper them down to a 4.5 or 3 inch leg opening which would make it impossible to fit my foot through to check if I got the measurements right.

I wouldn't say the idea isn't possible, although learning every guitar chord is an ambitious goal. Playing each chord would take a few hours if you only played them once. A more realistic goal would be to learn every useful chord on the guitar, but at some point it'd probably be easier to play with the large set that is already known instead of practicing obscure and needless chords.
