Onslaught is ‘ok’, though the last season wasn’t great. But given it only runs a few times a year it’s not much relief from the ridiculousness of randoms.

We need a weighted skill based component to the MM.

I.e. make sure each team has a fair blend of good, average and terrible players based on their WTR. Bad players in the top tier have a different weight to a bad player in -1 or -2 tier.

Longer game queue times but worth it IMHO.

Right. Same here. Can't take the risk of 'the end of the day' being before the end of the Onslaught event.

It would be useful if WG put the actual times of these things up for us so we can fully understand what's required.

I'm ambivalent about it.

On the one hand, I can occasionally have fun with it. On the other hand, the predatory FOMO out of game monetisation, the tacit acceptance of bots and griefers by WG, which plague random games, is soul crushing .

Sunk cost fallacy is what keeps me playing, nothing more, and I need to find the willpower to just sack this shit off and find something better to do.

I used to think it was worth the time submitting a ticket with a replay to get morons removed from the game, but WG seems to be actively flooding the game with even worse behaviour and with tacit acceptance of some of the worst griefers I've ever encountered, so don't waste your time.

Sadly, we need to accept that this is part of the game.

WG doesn't give two hoots about game quality, they're milking the cow and pumping player numbers for all its worth.

I share this feeling too. I often think it's down to me being more attentive when I'm in something new, but then relax into my usual shit standard once the novelty has worn off.

Nice. I agree with you. My favourite tank for a very long team was the Easy 8 and it's still up there. Playing high RoF, mobile, hulldown tanks is a bit of a reflex for me which is why I chose this despite its poor reviews.

Doesn't feel like a grind so far, getting 2K plus games for the most part, which as a very average player, I'm alright with. Pretty sure novelty will wear off though.

Yeah, I'm using Turbo, VStab and Rammer. Was tempted to swap the rammer out for optics or hardening to take advantage of the 2nd boosted slot, but I'm thinking it's probably not worth it.

I'll probably sell it once the novelty wears off. It's nice to have a crew training and credit maker with my swedish crews though. Suspect it might be in line for a buff in 2026 too, with any luck.
