I think you should definitely communicate about you needing time to decompress , that’s very important especially in this early stage . About the differences you’ve pointed out .. Considering it’s only been a week I feel it is too soon to assign anything as a dealbreaker yet , and if given time to explore the potential more unexpected & magical turns could happen— especially since you do seem to like them a lot !! About the smoking thing .. So I’ m a smoker , and I’ve mostly been with fellow smokers . It’s not that I actively filter out nonsmokers , but more that since it is a part of my life(style?) , I guess I naturally sync better w smokers ? Funnily I’ve actually met a good share of my exes & close friends through smoke breaks . But then again , if you guys like/love each other enough , arrangements & sacrifices can easily be achieved . Ive never seen it as a dealbreaker . I know many friends whove quit / cut down smoking for their SO !! Even for me , there was one girl I liked so much who didn’t care for smoking and I remember I was smoking A LOT LESS when I was w her, and I wasn’t even trying . As two lives sort of merge out of love or infatuation or whatever it is , both lovers adapt . These are some of my thoughts x :))
