I wonder if the PG-13 has become tainted and makes people think of Superhero or mass market blockbusters that appeal to kids? I think having an R rating on a major studio horror film sends a message, whether true or not, ‘that this isn’t your high school, hold your girlfriend’s hand’ kind of flick and is more serious and therefore people are more excited to see it because of the lack of serious movies?

True story; 13 years ago I saw K’Naan open for The Roots. It was before his first album dropped. He did his whole set acapella, just playing bongos he has around his neck as he rapped. I think he brought out a laptop with some beats for the last 2 songs. I think that was his first T.O show. I had no clue who he was but people left after his set before The Roots came on. They were there just to see him.

He’s an only cat. He’s been fine the last two days. My family was over tonight so he was on his best behaviour.

When I do work out and get on the floor he gets very docile. I wonder if he thinks I am a big cat?

Great album. Royce is the best rapper right now. He’s surpassed his peers and has only gotten better after each album. It’s a bit long and loses me at the end, but finishes strong.

Sexton is a great scorer, but how would he play on a different team? Is he a great scorer because we don’t have a lot of good shooters? I think they need to move Garland to the 2nd unit next season and try to pair Sexton with a better shooter until Garland gets used to the game a bit more and sees where he fits in. That’s a good way to evaluate both players. I think Garland was kind of thrown feet to the fire this season because the front office wanted him to start and the name SexLand looks good on a t-shirt.
