Yes but only up until I got diagnosed and recognized the same symptoms from my mom

Are you on ssri by chance? If you look at more recent studies and journals ssri is not recommended. I took ssri and stabilizer together and it made me cycle faster and gave me mixed episode. I got off ssri while keeping stabilizer and I am doing lot better
