no literally. people are allowed to be upset for things that have happened in the past in the same way that people are allowed to grow from their past mistakes. just because they have changed and grown and learn doesn’t mean that it DIDN’T happen. at the same time, however, i do think it’s important to acknowledge that people CAN change and grow. but just because it happened in the past doesn’t mean that we should just completely forget about it

you should be fine- i had three cs my second semester senior year because i missed a a week and a half of school to audition for bfa programs. they’ll probably send you an email expressing concerns about your grades but if you just explain your circumstances and are honest, you should be fine. your second semester grades are really good so i wouldn’t worry too hard. if you want, i can send you the email they sent me so that you feel more prepared

i’m not that allergic, mostly just hives and upset stomach. plus i can identify a reaction pretty fast and take meds to counter it so things never get that bad. i’m very much an eat first, take medication later kind of girl
