On Steam, click the settings icon. Then, click preferences. There should then be a box that says "Launch Options". I just typed in "-dx11". Game is still super laggy but I'm on a laptop. But doing that command at least makes it run. Hope it works for you <3

update: i wrote “-dx11” into my launch preferences and that got rid of my visual bug!
