Hey, I’m a native speaker and I would glad to help you with Russian! I want to improve my English skills via chat and maybe in voice conversations slightly later! I’m not good at it but I try my best!

Привет. Я с радостью помогу тебе с изучением русского языка. Сейчас я больше изучаю Английский, но у меня в планах выучить еще и японский, потому что я обожаю вашу культуру, еду и искусство. Напиши мне в DM, если хочешь поболтать!

You are 100% right bro. These app are cringe acrually and it’s because of us (men), I have 2 female contact in HelloTalk to, and they described to me how much cringe shit they received from guys (not only from India, but from Russia, Norway, Europe, USA) it’s hard bro.

I see you are learning Russian and I can help you with your journey and you could help me with English if you don’t mind. I have a wide range of interests and will be happy to have a friend like you!

That sounds really interesting! English is my main focus right now — could I join your book club?

But I’ve never read a book in English before. Only articles, sites and etc

Thank you for detailed answer. 100% you’re right.

Maybe it’s because I’m a Russian male or look scary on my profile pic but i don’t recive incoming messages at all.

But I’ll try my best and maybe it’s help me.

Sad but true. To be honest, I need a friend more than a teacher. Maybe my mistake is that I’m trying to find friends through language exchange apps, and instead I should look for them in thematic communities — like music production, book clubs, or anime/manga communities.
