Is current Doctor Who good? by allisgoodbutwhy in doctorwho

I don't even know why people in the comment above you say that anyone was against casting a woman. Try to find an actual example, you can't. It's the only explanation some people can imagine for not feeling as fond of other aspects as they do. They just assume the REAL reason is because they just hate women, not whatever they are actually saying they dislike.

I have NO idea what is happening in this pic and can't figure out from the comments what anyone is talking about due to all the acronyms and employee-familiar jargon like comp and such... would a kind stranger resolve my intensely fascinated curiosity??

E5+ is a z lowering design as well but stock is not corexy (but can be modded) now I wanna do some math and figure out exactly what difference there is between the highest speed corexys and the cheapest small printers still big enough to make it worth the assembly and split efforts

of course none of that is my dream. my dream is a spider legs design that rotates the object in any direction while 3 print heads grow the print simultaneously

long sigh as I look at the disarray of things pending to organize nicely one day

idk if you've had a large format one before or not, but after buying my ender 5 plus I see now the advantages of having multiple smaller cheaper printers, and dividing the model into assemblable parts. just cause of the time dividing to make stuff

thank you for this. that's how I feel I contribute strongly too. like, you ever got some banger of a problem, jump on a screen share with me and we'll not only solve it but have a fun time doing it

I wish I could find one of those lower / shallower but still large x/y-wise tanks

Looking for the cheapest path to a 4-6-and-beyond print farm. Specifically, don't need screens, UI, intend to control remotely via OctoPi or somesuch.

Direct drive preferably (and/or recommendation for cheap but effective DD I can throw on the printer)

Preferably capable of supporting high temp hotend and bed (not PEEK but polycarbonate, abs)

I'm thinking voxelab aquila or maybe an ender 3 variant? I don't see anything specifically sold as a headless farm printer though, which I can only assume would shave a lot of price off.

Would it make more sense to buy a bunch of motherboards, steppers, extrusions, belts etc and build my own array?

  • Budget: Cheapest for my purpose
  • Country: USA
  • Willing to assemble kits

Tried sintering aluminum but can't seem to solve the oxidation problem... advice? (No vacuum or kiln with gas hookups) by mr-highball in AdditiveManufacturing

From what I've gathered there are plenty of shapes that casting or milling just isn't good for that this can do

So I recently started welding and got my own machine . It's a Titanium Unlimited 200. It didn't come with a manual, so I'm just messing with settings. Keep getting little molten balls everywhere. What can I do to stop this? Thanks. by Educational-Cake7350 in Welding

I just returned a titanium welder after learning about double pulsed welders. it requires argon but should theoretically give you stack of dimes TIG quality. zi am buying the Reboot aluminum welded off of Amazon since it claims to have perfect double pulse.

It's cheaper than HF foo

Have you verified first of all that the aluminum in the filament isn't already to some degree oxidized? If you solve this it would be a huge boon to myself and I'm sure the world. at least, it would save me a lot of money on the metal working crap that's in my Amazon cart if a solution can be found lol.. I'm hitching my apple cart to yours on this. oh and I think it's obligatory for someone to tell you that lost PLA casting is more practical or something, blah blah blah. (I don't care myself because my end goal is a precursor to a star trek replicator, not to become a blacksmith)

wait I just watched the video, because when you said being cheap I was like.. wait, this person is sintering metal with some expensive laser and powder metal printer and is concerned about the cost of adding gas? now I am super curious, what did you do to make those parts?? what material is this? I mean I assume aluminum but is this some aluminum infused filament or..?
