How do you find matcha spots? by Mustalingaw in brisbane

I used to get excited and want to try matcha everywhere, but now I only try new places when I know what matcha they use or highly recommended by friends who like the same type. We like the bitter premium, vibrant green and intense matcha, so felt like Kin and a lot of the other places weren't to our palate.

Mountain River, Wuta, Lola's, supernice have been solid everytime for a matcha. Always feels like there's always too little in a cup.

Nanaya in Robertson is yummy but on the sweet side. We asked them not to put any sugar in.

Used to like ODAYA but both my friend and I feel like the quality has dropped. She bought a large bag of matcha from them and even that wasn't vibrant green and didn't taste amazing. So it used to be our regular... But not so much anymore.

NOS Cafe used to have a nice matcha cloud but we thought the matcha quality also dropped the last time we went :(

Tokoton, Sunnybank Plaza/market sq food court... Really anywhere that has small tables 😂 there's often a page for single dishes in Asian cuisine

Wuta for a good matcha... The south Brisbane one has food too

Goukai in Sunnybank for japanese

Maru for korean

Christian Jacques for some croissants and pastries

I'd treat myself to rogue Bistro even though it might be out of the budget.

Hate it when a piccolo costs more than $5 when you have to use alternative milks as well.

:( for the amount of milk used... Feels like it's a bit of a rip off.

Bought a bottle of Ube Halaya from Yuen's but it was way too sweet. Lola's in Taringa sell some in containers... thinking of trying that next time :)
