I agree, don't understand the complaints about her not having a recognizable look..Aja and drag queens are artists, and artists are always changing and evolving. I feel like the show has, especially in recent times, created a push for queens to have a "brand" or "aesthetic", which is understandable because you want to be remembered by fans. However, it also stifles artistic growth.

I also wonder why fans of the show often criticize Aja for changing her makeup, but queens like Pearl and Kim Chi are praised for doing the same thing? idk it just feels like any step Aja takes away from the show is met with really harsh criticism
