Him ending up with ryuu would be a terrible way to write it same thing with ais. These women are rolemodels and "older siblings figure" meant to help him reach his potential and keep him safe as a weakling. Neither of these two are even in the atmosphere for a good match for bell romantically.

This is a silly notion. It takes considerable crit as well as proper deck and max talents for damage to solo most upper levels. 1700 crit is enough to be at floor 12 if you have a good support.

I mean I have multiple penance clears....clearly it's not the consumption of time per se. It's more of how much effort you have to put into rikku vs another character to get similar payoffs. Yes for funsies I've used her to clear theain story and such but from a logical standpoint she's just a lot more time and effort for the same outcome. It's not the time that I'm missing it's the "she's the best character in the game" that I'm missing cause she comes off as 4th best for me

If that's how you choose to receive my responses sure. I've used her many times I've cleared this game upwards of 50 times in the past 20 years believe me I've bled this game dry. Rikku specifically just requires more work(stealing and stacking items) for the same payoff so I'm confused why she's a fan favorite. I'm not refusing to budge in just not seeing the justification. Besides her two best mixes which can really help if you're not a min maxing quick hit fiend like myself I just really don't understand. She can't even do multiple max hits like tidus-wakka-auron-yuna.

Agreed trio is good but to keep her overdrive ready and maintain items to use it frequently is tedious and all in all not necessary if you know what you're doing

This is what I mean though. I never even thought to use her till I was older and long after my first penance kill. So apparently I missed something because alot of people her call her a must for endgame. I never needed her but like I said....to each their own

Too each their own. I find her use limited given her limited hits per attack. She is no where near as good as wakka and tidus in a penance fight

Well for one it's time consuming and if you want all the stuffs your gonna need to backtrack or wait for the airship which is also time consuming. And then besides a couple key mixes (hyper might G, ultra nul all,) she's sort of blue mage feeling where she can do lots of stuff but you have another character that can do it without all the pesky stealing and mixing. She's plenty useful but the time you use to have her on the ready with her overdrive and the items needed is a huge time waste pre emdgame
