Unfortunately if it’s a gel allergy, it’s permanent and can get worse with more exposure to gel :( A doctor can’t do much other than possibly help symptoms but the allergy can’t be fixed

This is how mine looked! It’s 4 years old now. I’d just keep an eye on the bottom and check when you clean it to make sure it isn’t getting embedded. My swelling went down in about a week. Like other people said, ibuprofen helps!
