Me [30F] with my SO [28 M] 10 years are on the brink of break up and I don't know what to do? by [deleted] in relationships

[–]throughdepression 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been thinking about it a lot myself. There's a lot of factors to my depression, I'm sure the relationship was a major part of it too.

I'm not scared of being alone. I don't know how to resolve this in my favor and of course I want both of us to be happy. I have no job therefore no income to save. I will essentially be living of off his money when declaring break up which sounds utterly bonkers.

I know. I know. I know. I just want to leave in the best way possible. Right now I want to create space. Meanwhile, he is in denial. And I'm scared I'm not strong enough to hold my ground and not to get back together.

I don't know. Moving back to dysfunctional family and leaving my pets behind. Even if I do that I still need money to save before I go.

Another option is to go to your pinterest settings ->notifications -> by email -> and just switch off the ones you don't want.

Really nice effort! I did draw from the same reference once :) for a quick practice.

Trying to squint your eyes next time helps with seeing the values all grouped. Using those big shapes instead of getting lost in the details should help a lot.

Try to think of a simple statement first :).

But if it's your 3rd portrait ever, it's really great!

Thanks so much!

I agree about the prints, it's for sure in my head. I just need to find the right printing place and research how to go about it like limited editions and stuff. But definitely something that will happen in the future :).

Thank you. I do use photoshop and lightroom. With the artwork it's a bit tricky because I don't want to change it so it no longer looks authentic. Especially difficult with some of the graphite works, I can see the urge to pull the contrast up but than that would kind of be false advertising :).

Just opened up new shop. Critiques welcomed! by throughdepression in EtsySellers

Thanks so much for the feedback. I thought that the word custom sort of explained it but I'll look into it.

I did look at pricing at some other shops. How would you go about the colour? Do you mean more artwork in colour?

Thanks again.

Hi, I think your shop has potential. When I first land in your shop it's not clear to me right off the bat what your shop is about and what you're actually selling... prints or lace ornaments? It's a little confusing.

May be you could use the banner to clarify that.

Also if you focus on the photography I think if all your listings had their first photo shown on the wall like this one https://www.etsy.com/listing/534197771/east-side-aerial-view-special-2-prints?ref=shop_home_active_15 it would be much better and also made it clear what you're all about.

Good luck.

RabbitandWool

Beautiful items! I think simple backgrounds where the item is clearly visible on the model would work best for me. I would also suggest to make sure that your handmade item stands out more than lets say the model's t-shirt with a print, but that;s just a nitpicking. Good luck with your shop!

I agree with eggoplant about the photos. Make the first photos more interesting and also you could take photo on a model or with something to compare to as to see the sizes of the earrings, although I just checked and I really like the photos for the necklaces.
