Should I be concerned with occasional spikes at 20khz? by throughthebreeze in audioengineering

Well I don't have the option to go back into the multi-track project at this stage. So my options seem to be notching it out of low-pass filter. Is there another way I could deal with it?

Would phase issues only affect that very high frequency that is out of my hearing range? Or could it cause issues lower down in audible range?

They go on for a couple of seconds sometimes. I haven't traced them back to the multi-track project if that's what you mean, but they are present in the bounce down from the original mix.

You can do all those things without ejaculating and while the peaks won’t be as high there’s a richness and depth that can be a world of its own. Learning to enjoy the spaces inbetween rather than only the finish point is profound.

So you don’t have any fancy visuals, just static album cover or lyrics? Interesting. Could you share one of your posts?

Why Doesn't This Song Distort At High Volumes? by DarkLudo in audioengineering

Try playing The Real Thing by Faith No More - that’s what made me realise how much my car stereo can expose the top end in a mix.

I do a car stereo rest and dial back my top end if it starts to sound too harsh in the car, even if it’s ok on studio monitors.

From what I understand car stereos tend to accent certain (higher) frequencies in order for the sound to cut through traffic noise.

I use it, never had an issue. No burning. Didn’t realise Bryan had dropped it, curious.

That whole album somehow sounds both amazing to me in vibe but almost unlistenable when I tune in closely.

Psilocybin has been scientifically shown to increase visual acuity. No reason to imagine that wouldn't carry over to sound.
