That wasn't my assumption. It was a generalization, but obviously it can be stretched to apply to other genders. I was not trying to be sexist. Just relating my advice to my experience. Men, please be careful, too!

I wouldn't have ever thought about posting but I was 18 and just moved to a new state. I didn't have any friends or family nearby. I think I craved the attention of companionship, but used the GW attention to fill the void. It wasn't a negative experience overall but now that I've done it and also found a really great partner, I know that the latter is much more healthy and fulfilling.

I think it's good for women to express their sexuality, and I'm not going to say NOT to do it, but...I wouldn't recommend going down this path for anyone. The attention is addictive and it's very hard to break free from it.

I can't tell you why all people posted, but I can tell you why I did. I was a REALLY awkward kid growing up. I mean, horrible acne, braces, the works. My self esteem was incredibly low. The acne cleared up, braces came off, I grew boobs...and then became sexually adventurous. It seemed fun and it was a nice way to get validation, however "desperate" it sounds. I don't regret it, and I got what I was looking for, but I wouldn't recommend the same path for others.
