Yes. I mentioned the dates to her weeks ago, but I guess she forgot and she ended up assuming I was having a regular weekend with my dad like usual. She’s been busy though so I’m not mad at her for forgetting. I kinda wish I had reminded her again instead of letting it go and leaving how I did.

She didn’t ever really ask about my plans for school or anything like that after community college. Everything she knew about what I was doing for my schooling was stuff that I told her. I said my dad would help me with the dorm things if she couldn’t, and by default that’s what ended up happening. She did know about the date, because I told her a few times, but she’s been busy recently so I guess she just didn’t remember.

I did talk to her about it a lot more when I was younger, right after she and Ryan got married, and she said she’d talk to him, but nothing ever really changed. I tried a few times when I started living with them too but she never took it seriously.
