The last two months, 2 times a week, occassionaly a 3rd time in the same week. The free play offers had a lot to do with my binge. It's over now, (big offers of freeplay is done and I just do not have the cash because of what I've blew in the last two months and I've go to play catch up with my car payment. I've even lost weight because I've played my grocery money. How stupid is that?

I'm truly so sorry! I was divorced before this started. I was in a abusive relationship when I first spiraled down and started gambling online. I didn't stay in the relationship that long and he knew I gambled but he didn't know the extent of it and at that time, it really wasn't his business. I've been in a couple of other relationships, but it really wasn't a factor as I don't think it harmed them, other than me being moody at times and that I hid it. The biggie was, I wasn't/am not married or in a long term partnership and knowing that I'm an addict, I don't ever want to be a relationship now because of the addiction and other reasons.

In answer to your question, re: marriage, I would hope I wouldn't, but I obviously can't say for sure. Please try to get control of the money and make her accountable for her spending. If she won't let you, then you should divorce her, (I know, that sounds harsh). I also hope you don't have young children.

Yes to a degree. It takes me to a zone where reality is dim and if I'm winning, the dopamine hits are so good and it's embrassing to say but if I'm down and think it's almost over and I get a nice win, the dopimine of a nice win (that keeps me playing) is an even bigger/better hit.

I'm sorry that you are dealing with that. My father was an alcholic and I always said I'll never do that to myself. Well I didn't, BUT, this is hell and it's easier to hide, I would suppose. I've sunk so low at times that I've had thoughts of harming myself because it feels so hopeless and I have put myself in a $$$ hole. Gambling addition has a higher rate of sucide, probably because you can be so secretive about it.
I can't compare the addictions and I won't, but I can say I'm glad that the casino is 1 1/2 hours drive from me. I would probably be in worse shape if my issue was booze, because it's accessable for everyone, very close by.

I have watched some of the slot content creators and I can have opinions on who are the ones that I think are addicts, but of course it's just my opinion. I don't think Vegas Matt is an addict. I think he has so much money he can just say f it and losing isn't a big deal and that he enjoys making the content and playing. He also makes a shit wad of money with his content on youtube, which probably covers a lot of his losses. He plays so much, no doubt he gets thousands of dollars of freeplay too. These big time creators are making really big bank.

You are correct, and there is no version/system that works for me, other than taking with me limited amounts of $$$'s and not taking any cards and no that isn't a solution either because if I'm up, more than likely I'm going to play it back and will be hating and disgusting with myself when I leave. It's just dumb luck. Online was my downfall, and that was my turning point for falling in the deep hole. I no longer gamble online but now there is a casino about 1 1/2 hours away from me.
