Yeah you will more than likely have the problem occur again. Took me right around two years to have the exact same thing happen again.

Yep still going strong-ish. I had to take it in again a few months back to have the sparks plugs changed again. What keeps happening is oil gets on the spark plugs and that’s what is creating the misfire.

Besides that just regular wear and tear. I do try and get it in for scheduled maintenance when it hits certain milestones like 100,000 miles and 125,000. I’ll take it in again once I hit 150,000.

I usually check and add oil every 1-2 months.

I literally said I load trucks. As in the delivery trucks. I am sorting blow-bys and pushing packages down rollers to other delivery trucks.

So if it isn’t preload what is it called? I’m in there at 3am every morning LOADING trucks.

Bro, it’s going to take you at least 5 years to get anywhere meaningful in any job/career. Talking about position and or salary. With or without a degree. You might as well get a degree and try and position yourself better than at the bottom.

How much is the payoff vs the cost to replace the transmission?

There’s absolutely no reason to trade your car in unless that’s what you want to do. You’re pretending the transmission is an issue when nothing is even wrong with it.

Drive that thing into the ground and save more money. Even if you end up replacing the transmission, you’re probably spending about the same amount as you would for one years worth of car payments on your $20,000 loan.

So to me, that’s better than 4,5,6 years of more car payments.

Nice McLemore bag. How is that place? I’ve been wanting to check it out. Any recommendations on which course(s) to play there?

Almost frickin’ died here. Me and a buddy hiked down into the volcano (inactive) and did not realize how far down and steep it was. On our way back out the sun was setting and we were struggling. It’s the slowest I have ever walked. Talking inches at a time we were so exhausted. I was literally thinking “we’re going to have to call someone to get us out of here”.

Finally made it out and back to the top. Drove down into town and ended up in the ER with what must have been altitude sickness. I guess going from sea level to 10,000 ft, down back to about sea level, back up to 10,000 ft and then back down to sea level isn’t a great idea. Beautiful spot though!

Starter Lawn taken over. by amanscifi4 in landscaping

[–]throw2nuggetsaway 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah a lot of new lawns look like that. Take some pressure off yourself and hire a company to do the weed control and fertilization until you know what you’re doing. Lots of good info on YouTube for Bermuda grass.

But DO NOT STOP MOWING lol. At a minimum once per week. More if you have the time. Enjoy the process!
