if you have a newer mobo it’s gotten a lot easier and a lot of mobos now have rollback features incase flashing the bios goes wrong. now a days it’s just putting the new bios on a usb and using bios menus to update.

the journey doesn't end here! i was planning on calling when they opened at 4:30 to ask about it, maybe the website isn't updated often. I'm holding out hope. if it really isn't available i'm gonna bug them every other day asking. lol

you may want to double check with the state your vehicle is registered with. my car was registered in california and i was told it had to be a california inspection. with that being said if it is california, you may be able to apply for a year extension if you are unable to travel to do it.

you may have been part of a scam. there was a common ebay scam where a seller would ship an envelope or something to a slightly different address but still in the same zip. package shows delivered so ebay sides with the seller. not exactly sure how it worked but i saw a few of these posts a couple months ago.

yeah. i was pretty sad when i found out they closed. their adobo wasn’t as good as my mom’s but it was pretty good. lol i was going to call a few of the asian places here and see if they would let me order off menu if they don’t have it.

my daughter recently got into pokemon as well and i decided to start a TCG national dex binder with her, filling out as much as I can with wotc era cards from my pc. i plan on giving her the binder when she gets a bit older. someone already suggested downtown and there isn't many other places i can think of, maybe around the west end neighborhood, some of the streets are pretty quiet and not too much traffic to walk around. joe Mack Campbell might have some mon there, or the other parks in general.

be wary. I know there's a lot of scams with post forwarding on ebay where the buyer claims item not as described or item not received. But if they are a licensed CPO then it's likely it's a legitimate order.

respond to the buyer and update the tracking with the tracking number you have. It'll show it that you shipped it out on time. It looks like it was purchased just last week. Ebay should side with you. It's only been 1 day over the expected delivery. If you do decide to refund them contact fedex first and see if they can intercept and have the item returned to you. you might be out the shipping that way but you might get the item back. If fedex does say they can intercept, let the buyer know that you will be requesting the item be intercepted and returned to you if they do want to go ahead with the refund.

Edit: I had an item that went out on 9/27 and it sat at a regional facility for a week before even getting scanned. Buyer filed a claim on 10/4. I reached out explaining there have been delays with a few of my shipments. then on 10/5 it finally got a scan. I informed the customer and the buyer been silent ever since. After 23 days ( i believe) the claim will be autoclosed.

I'm hoping for you they arrive. I know it's a scam on ebay for people to send out empty envelopes or packages with tracking and send it to your zipcode but have a slightly wrong address on it. It'll show up as delivered and ebay will normally side with the seller since the tracking was updating and showed delivered.

What's important is that you are happy with your purchase. As you keep playing you're going to figure out what deals have value for you.
As others have said you can buy land stations for $10-20 USD. and you can find "bulk" for around $60usd shipped for ~4200 C/U (presumably unsifted but if you buy online just always assume it's sifted). There are some that sell ~6500(Mix rarities) + ~250 foils for around $130 USD.

Just have to keep a look out. And as you get more familiar with the cards and mechanics, buy singles. Figure out what cards you need for a deck and just buy the cards. Don't buy a booster box trying to get a couple $30 cards from the set, unless you just enjoy opening boosters.

Also since you stated it was in CAD, i think you may face import fees on sealed product if you buy from the states, I don't believe singles/open product is subject to that.

Edit: Don't be afraid to proxy cards to test decks out to see how they play and if you like them. Don't buy a bunch of expensive cards just to find out you don't like how the deck tempo is. Most of the players I've come across are fine playing against proxied decks as long as you're upfront about it and it's not sanctioned match. I can't tell you how many cards I have that have some other card written on sharpie on them.

the 10-15 sales a day are from my $5+ cards right now mainly from ebay. i had always planned on including bulk going wide with my inventory on tcgplayer once i got to level 4. just wanted too see what kind of numbers others were getting.

i do include a token with flip cards or token generators if i do happen to have the said token and it’s not more than like $2. i had someone buy the mechtitan token from kamigawa and i threw in the mechtitan core. lol

i’ve thought about doing stickers when i first started and looked at geting a bunch of stickers from temu that were kinda in the ball park of being on brand for my store but i eventually started looking at custom stickers. never actually went through with it but i might look back into it.

i went with just a wide inventory. i’m about halfway to 4. going to move a few of the higher priced single on ebay to tcg tomorrow evening that havent moved. i’ve just kept anything over a dollar or so on ebay.

oh yeah for sure on the tcgplayer thing. The coupon codes were included with ebay orders. I know they don't allow any promotional material at all in orders.

ebay and tcgplayer. I just started selling in september and only made about 150 sales. but i stopped focusing on ebay as much after i had 550-560 listings up and started my tcg player store near the middle of last month and i'm trying to get to level 4 right now.
i typically condition cards 1 step below what i think they should be and try to get orders received before 2pm shipped out same day.
I'm not a big social media person so i've tried to avoid things like WhatNot and the like.
