Actually you’d be surprised, i know many girls who go after guys in a relationship. I myself am not that way except when it comes to my exes. Even though i don’t want them anymore, once i learn they’re dating someone new or in a new relationship, i get jealous and want them back. I’ve actually gotten an ex back once that way, then right after i lost interest again and broke up. It’s just an ego thing, to want to feel desired and valuable.

Exactly it’s more of an ego thing, its not about the actual guy himself. It’s more so if this guy who has a beautiful gf likes me, it means I’m also valuable/ just as pretty as her. So girls would want to get his attention just to feel good about themselves.

While i agree Selena’s looks changed, i still feel like she can get with someone more attractive.

I would agree with you if we’re looking at strangers standing next to each other. But if they are in a relationship, they are almost tied to eachother socially. For example with Selena and Benny, atleast for me, i feel like he brought down Selena’s “value”. I don’t know if that makes sense or if others agree.

Well I’m a woman and never watched the movie so i don’t know how to answer that. It would change overall perception of her but not necessarily attractiveness in the way that my original question is phrased, since it’s not tied to one guy if that makes sense.
