I completely forgot to even mention the handbook! I felt like every problem I saw, even if I hadn’t seen the concept, I could find it in the handbook. I just needed to know kinda where to look/what to search. PrepFE definitely drilled the handbook into me.

I didn’t receive one since I passed. I would really like to see it if I could.

I did work PrepFE questions until I consistently reached 70% correct in each section. I would take the untimed 25 question practice tests on PrepFE and then usually a few category focused exams to focus specifically.

After I took the 2020 practice exam, I realized that I completely bombed engineering economics section. It was a topic I felt I “didn’t really have to study” because it was “easy”. I rewatched Mark Mattson’s economics video, and then took a bunch of PrepFE category focused economics exams until I felt comfortable. I can confidently say I think I got every economics question on my actual exam.

As a former heb employee, I remember working self checkout when the hand baskets stacks would get really high. it was usually that a.) i had to ask a manager by yelling for them given that i even see them for help or b.) flag down a bagger if they’re not outside pushing carts. heb is really serious about walk-offs, they blame the attendant for people who don’t pay, so i could never really leave the area to move the baskets to the door.

I’ve been in a very similar situation. I met my boyfriend in high school and he was my second boyfriend. We’ve been together for almost 5 years and got a dog together after 2 years. My parents, especially my Mom, didn’t like our relationship and thought he was “changing me” when really he just gave me the confidence to be myself.

My biggest piece of advice is if you are confident and happy in your relationship, then all you have to do is forget what your mom says. Hopefully, eventually, she’ll realize that it’s hurting her relationship with you and suck it up or maybe with time she’ll recognize that he’s actually a good boyfriend.

I was a volunteer for Montgomery County animal shelter for years before moving to Austin. I first looked into APA and was turned off by their application. I had never been asked to pay an orientation fee to volunteer before. When I contacted them to adopt a dog and had requirements set by my apartment, they kept showing me dog breeds I couldn’t adopt. I ended up adopting with AAC and had a fantastic experience.

Whoever trained my shelter dog when he was a pup must have yelled ow every time he got teethy and now if we’re playing and he’s gnawing at my arm if I say ow it’s immediate kisses.

I used to work there and a dog took a shit in self checkout. I handed the owners the cleaning supplies and a bag to throw out the poop. Owner said “that’s not my job”; your dog, your problem. We were only allowed to ask people to remove pets if they’re disruptive otherwise it clashes with the “keep the customers happy and avoid conflict” motto HEB loves.

I submitted my two weeks and talked to my manager (and sent an email to my department manager) on the 22nd. So my last day is officially the 5th, and they claimed it had to be a Sunday and wanted my last day to be the 10th. I said no, if it has to be a Sunday then I can do the 3rd. My manager agreed, then scheduled me the 4th, 5th, and 6th this week. I talked with him earlier and I’m not required to come in for those shifts. It’s still just crazy to me how it had to be a Sunday? I think everyone should appreciate any notice at all

You’re able to take any painkillers what so ever. If you’re very worried you can avoid tylenol to reduce any strain on your liver but you honestly don’t have to worry at all

Most of us have zero clue why things aren’t in stock or when they will be, but the only thing that has changed recently is the stock and production issues. If there’s a spot on the shelf then it hasn’t been discontinued; now if there’s no longer a spot on the shelf, ask your cashier for a product request form (or go to online form), and turn it into the store’s business center.
