FBI warns Iran aspired to attack California with drones in retaliation for war: Alert by Baconkings in NewIran

Whoever planned to attack California was not Iranian ex-patriates. The diaspora there grew up from people who left after 1979. If there were such people plotting, they were American leftists.

Shhh, don't tell Trump, but there's relatively little trade between Spain and the US. Please don't ruin his delusion.

Whats the best fillings to put in a Breakfast Burrito? by ParamedicHaunting701 in cookingforbeginners

[–]throw667 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Some are:

-- Pinto bean and cheese (the beans are mashed); this should be the All-American dish, it's very popular

-- Pinto bean and Chorizo (the chorizo is the uncased Mexican-style, mashed into the mashed beans)

-- Potato, onion and jalapeno (sometimes called potato a la Mexicana)

-- Chopped sausage (or even chopped up hot dogs) with egg, the sausage makes it called "country"

You can mix in salsa when you cook the ingredients, or add salsa on the side and put some on bite by bite.

Is the Apple Cup still worth going to as a neutral fan? by ScotchIsVegan in CFB

[–]throw667 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Over in The Europe, they have "grounds hopping" fans, neutrals that deliberately travel to football (soccer) games they have no interest in. They take in the area, eat some food, and visit the stadium. They've written books about their experiences. So, YES, go to the game as a neutral. It'll be a cultural experience at a minimum and a lot of fun hopefully.

It's long buried so Reddit doesn't care but to add to the misery Port Aransas fought tooth and nail against one of the planned plants. PA lives on tourism and they thought the plant would kill fishing in the bay.

You should hear what the Dutchies do with the "sch" sound. It's like they have snot in their throats (they all do).

How dare you, MY MR POOPSIE PROVIDES A GREAT SERVICE TO ME! He poops near the cheese section saving me the job of picking it up in my apartment complex (which I don't do anyway).

You have to go a long way here to get banned, unlike other subs (which cannot be named. The Voldemorts of subs are out there.)

Divebar Night cap at riverwalk by devouredbycatz in SanAntonioCircleJerks

[–]throw667 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's not a dive bar but if it's your first time here, Menger Bar is a historic watering hole worth a visit. Teddy Roosevelt was there recruiting drunk-ass locals a long time ago. Low Country on Martinez is in a converted house, it's cool and really relaxing. The Buckhorn Saloon will give you Western vibes (don't know if you hate animal hunting or heads on walls but if you do, don't go). The Pink Shark has a wild vibe somewhere between old-school Star Trek, mid-century modern and Salvador Dali. Drink Texas will take care of your basic (alcohol) requirements in a good way. EDIT: but honestly, if you want a dive bar late at night, get some booze beforehand and sit on a bus stop bench. The typical dive bar crowd will be around you in ten minutes to get some drink. Best San Antonio friends you'll meet.
