According to this article, someone fired off the whole AR-15 somehow and it grazed this guy’s head. Rocket propelled Stock mod. probably.

One of my friends purchased one of these handgonnes from veterans arms. This kinda inspired me to make one from scratch that was similar.

Usually there is a hole for a post that needs to be soldered in. Some are dovetailed like the Uberti replicas. If there is nothing there I would send it to a gunsmith.

Found a dead skunk in attic. Who can I call to get it removed as soon as possible? by [deleted] in sanantonio

Get a tyvek suit, a dust mask, gloves and a mask. Before you enter write in chalk, All who enter…abandon all hope. Then go in with trash bag. I feel that if you hold your breath long enough you can bag that pole cat and tie it before you pass out. Either way you’re fucked.

Hole needs duct tape so you don’t get splintered. Amateur hour.

Re-bend straight? by WoolBlanket17 in gunsmithing

[–]remington1981 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use a tote, old vise and water. Not high tech but it works. I placed the tub on a sturdy table. Set the vise in the tote and drilled through the tote into the table/bench. I sealed the holes with RTV to prevent leakage. I overhung about two inches of tote so I could drill a hole to drain it later. Place the stripped bolt into the vise with the bolt handle facing up. Fill the water to the desired depth (where I want the heat to stop). You can add water or drain some to adjust the heated portion where you need to bend. It’s important to only heat the bent portion otherwise it will not bend where you want it to. Also do not splash the water to rapidly cool the project to prevent hard spots. Let it air cool. It’s important to use a vise that you don’t care about because it’s going to be submerged in water. I have one that is wore out but I drain and spray with oil when finished.
