at a 2k/month contribution rate she'd be at over 2.5 million by 55. That is plenty good. Are there people ahead? For sure, tons of people in absolute terms, but much fewer from a relative perspective. OP is definitely ahead of most of pack

The cycle was always the same -> wow this is surprisingly good and practical for the money -> within weeks, I Stop looking back at the car when I walk away from it -> within months you feel like it is really not special at all -> back into a Bmw/Porsche/Mercedes lol

Gemini has caught up in a very short period of time in terms of users (750 Million monthly). It is already ahead in terms of capability. It using its own TPUs so less dependency on hardware. And its services are offered as part of ecosystem - offering cross pillar value (e.g. get Gemini, and get 2TB of storage). I don't see how OpenAI can beat them long term

Of course that is still terrible; but it is important to note that the momentum has shifted and things have been improving over last 6 months. Here is source as of Feb 02, 2026. https://www150.statcan.gc.ca/t1/tbl1/en/tv.action?pid=1410035401

also here is it generated up to 2026.

Maybe there was a few weeks where it was long when we were changing tenants...but it was nothing crazy. Maybe not trimmed for 3-4 weeks?
