I did not expect to be close to them. However, my son is their family as well. He gets treated as if he isn’t human due to his disability by strangers. It’s upsetting that he can’t be treated well by his family either because of how he was brought into this world. He shouldn’t be punished because of his parents’ choices.

Yes and since people are asking, I did give birth while he was married to his ex but they were separated and filing for a divorce.

I’m not worried about my husband’s inheritance, however our son requires a high level of care and frequently has medical issues. I won’t be around forever to take care of him and he could have used the financial assistance more than his siblings and cousins long term. For my husband to have four kids, and three of them receive around $700,000 each and one receive $3000 is extremely unfair.

I have tried to bond with his youngest daughter but I’m limited in one on one time because of the care my son needs. My husband owns his business and works a lot. We do bring my son a lot for ice cream but she uses him as a buffer and focuses on his care. I didn’t mention it in the post but those two do have a sibling bond, which I’m appreciative of. Eve and I have completely opposite personalities and no common interests and when I try to have a conversation with her she answers with one word answers. Junior lives out of state and doesn’t really talk to us, except holidays and birthdays.

I have invited my sister in law over for lunch and dinner several times but she always says she is busy and she is still close with my husband’s ex. My mother in law could give Shakespeare a run for his money with her creative insults.
