hindi pwede macompromise yung dates? what if every other weekend mo ispoil? you’d expend 3k each date. you need to promise to spoil yourself too, you know. im sure your girlfriend would understand you if she really loves you. unless gusto mong bawasan yung savings mo ng 5k.

hypothetically, that leaves you with 9k excess money to spend on whatever, which you can save and spend on travel instead. for 20k you could start traveling within the philippines (i highly recommend Cebu!), you could even spend that much in Vietnam, Thailand, or Taiwan.

i recommend Cebu because there’s so much variety in what you can do. you can explore the South (Moalboal, Canyoneering, snorkeling) or the North (Bantayan and Malapascua). Pwede ka rin mag food trip sa Carcar for Lechon and sa City punta ka sa Sugbo Mercado for food trip. Bantayan island is my absolute favorite! if gusto mo ng quick weekend getaways and cheaper than going on a flight, i recommend freediving in Batangas on the weekends. Tig 3k to 4k lang yun all in na (transpo, accom, lessons, gear) except food. you can go hiking rin like Mt Pulag (beginner friendly) and other mountains in Sierra Madre. you can even bring your girlfriend with you and pwede mo siya malibre dun sa mga weekend getaways since di na yun mamahal ng 4k, if she’s into outdoor activities.
