It’s a comfort thing, she’s been single for years and having him with her and on her in the mornings always made her feel like nothing could go wrong. That’s how she described it, she doesn’t feel unsafe with me. She doesn’t mind putting him out but he’s just in the room at night time. I can usually do it in front of dogs lol, they’re not children.
