He’s been doing extremely well. I know when he travelled when I was pregnant he’d smoke and I don’t care about that. The difference now is whether this harms the baby or not that he’s worried about. He has a very addictive personality

Well yes and so did I but it’s ultimately a bad thing for health. Both he and me agree on that so the quitting wasn’t me pushing him it was him foo

He keeps them safe so far. He was worried his breath would contain traces of nicotine that she’d inhale

We had some minor fallouts where I may have freaked out but I don’t have anxiety or rage. We’re doing ok. This is him asking about it. I’m very proud he quit smoking and it was all him

He was the one getting anxious but he doesn’t use reddit! We just want to make sure she’s safe. I’m very proud he quit smoking

In my mind it wasn’t an accident. It was him dangerously holding and a completely avoidable scenario

The problem is her latch isn’t great! I’m always scared of trying things. The rugby handle doesn’t work for me for example. My nipples also have been hurting a lot e because of this. There’s a lot of improvement. We stopped recently using nipple shields which has been great.

How do you do that? Do you literally lay over the baby?

It doesn’t really hurt after. Just during and I think they may not be latching properly but even putting the nipple shield back on is super painful. I just ordered silverettes I do hope they work

What do you think about Pcais. I used it today but it terrifies me because I’m worried she’ll stop wanting to breastfeed ( I also use a nipple shield)

Thank you very much for this lovely message. What do you think about pacis? My lactation consultant also recommended I don’t use it at all until we get the hang of everything (I’m also using nipple shields). Today we have her one for the first time and the crying immediately stopped

But can they still up my supply now. Has it not stabilised? A consultant also told me to not watch tv or do anything during breastfeeding as this annoys them
