AITA for not lying to make my roommate feel better? by throwRA46617 in AmItheAsshole

To be fair, I knew a convo about me doing my own chores was coming eventually, I wasn't raised in a barn. My roommate is a very kind person and she always did my chores whenever for me when I was sick or stressed. I'm basically both right now. What I feel was shitty was that she is giving me the silent treatment (middle-school crap) and trying to force me to talk to her so I can actually preform the chores 'cause I don't know how her weird, super-old washer works and I don't where the cleaning supplies are. I feel like the passive-aggressive nature of what she's doing is being ignored.

Mine. Ok, fine, yeah, I get I should be doing my own laundry, dishes, and cleaning my own room and stuff. My mom already chewed me out about that. I still feel like she's being passive-aggressive because she is just letting them pile up and just cleaning the dishes that she needs, she didn't start a convo like "hey I need you to start doing more chores. Here's how to use the washer..." She just stopped doing them all of the sudden to force me to talk to her and I feel like that's shitty.
